But, phones have a business aspect too don't they? what if you need to type an email quickly or text someone instantly? qwerty phones help us type with much ease and efficiency. The most important feature of qwerty devices that you just cant get wrong on typing whatever you are working on. Also, the devices are usually small, thus easily manageable, unlike phablets.
Blackberry OS is another robust ecosystem which works flawlessly on the hardware specified by blackberry. It is just so fluid and secure, no complications whatsoever.
If you consider the business aspect of a mobile device, be it mails or IM, or intranet work ecosystem, no other device performs with as much efficiency other than a blackberry. Ofcourse iphones do some of the job.
So, the bottomline is, in the ever growing age of big sized phablets and smartphones, why not use a device which works for it purpose with simplicity and efficiency. You can be much more productive in a Blackberry than using a Samsung. :)
So, I don't think Blackberry should quit the business just yet. Instead they should come up with new ideas so as to regain the business.
But whenever we think of a blackberry device, the first 2 things that come to our mind is:
1. A business device full of elegance and social status.
2. A QWERTY keyboard.
